I'm a Vegan Tattoo Artist currently working out of Surry Hills in Sydney and will soon be working from Byron Bay also. I use only vegan, cruelty free inks and products so If anyone is after a 100% vegan tattoo and is in any of these areas I'd love to chat happy

I specialize in photo real wildlife, you can check out my work on my website : terezkabeck.com.au
or my facebook page: Terezka Beck Art / Vegan Tattoo

I'm still learning so am very reasonably priced at the moment and am also donating a small percentage from every tattoo to various animal conservation / rights organizations. Happy to donate some to Animals Australia if referred through here happy

So great to see some other like minded vegan artists out there, hope to have the pleasure of meeting you one day.

much love,
Terezka Beck xx

You can contact me via email for any further info.

Wow, I had no idea about this! Why on earth is it necessary to have animal product in tattoo ink?! When does it end. Well this breaks my heart because both my husband and I have tattoos. I guess all we can do is look into it further next time and hope to find a tattoo place that has vegan friendly ink. I'm not sure how they will take to questioning their ink, but that's what will need to be done, I bet a lot of the artists themselves don't even know. Utter shock...

Kaleidoscope Tattoo - Situated in Bondi, Sydney

The owner Steve was vegan and is happy to supply vegan ink, and won't give you funny looks or stupid remarks for it happy you just need to make sure you ask for it.

Hi Troy, I have a tattooist friend (not veg) and so know not only how un-vegan friendly the inking is but the practice in order to become a tattooist in the first place, practicing on pig skin etc. Pretty revolting.
Good for you being a vegan tattooist, hopefully there will be more of you very soon!
A lot of tattoo artists learn and practice on them selves, legs or arms (the smart ones do thighs), thankfully there are a fair few who don't use pig skin. Some even use oranges, but themselves or on others is the way a lot do it.

Great post! Although I already have tattoos from before I returned to Veganism, I will definitely do my research when it's time for my next session under the needle!!
