Tassie banning sow stalls!

First cage eggs now sow stalls..

I saw this on the local news last night . Tasmania had planned to quit using sow stalls by 2017 but are doing it now . They will now be raised in 'group pens' as they called them where they could interact with each other . Now of course they shouldn't even be in these farms but it's a step forward (an expensive one too )

Yes, caged eggs are now banned too, no new ones are allowed to go in whilst the ones already in existence will continue on till the middle of next year where they will then be totally phased out.
