As many people are aware an extremely large number staffies (similar breeds) have been stolen in recent weeks from the Maitland NSW.
It's assumed that a "dog fighting ring" is operating in the area due to the shear number of dogs going missing from secure yards whilst owners are away.
These people involved in such acts need to be brought to justice before even more families are left heart broken.
Being a staffy lover, I'm carrying out my own investigations into this distressing news. If anyone could assist with any information thaty may help (no matter how big or small) that would be greatly appreciated.
Its these kind of sick people that give the breeds a bad name in general, lets catch them!
I think a vigilante group needs to be assembled to take out these putrid humans! Nothing is being done about this by Police because they are either too lazy or have 'better' things to do. So why don't we, the people that really care, (the dog owners) stand up and do something! These people just look at dogs as pets. Well I look at my dog as my best mate, like my son! If I EVER caught anyone in my street or my house trying to steal mine or my neighbours dogs, I wouldn't just let them go and report them to the police... Just saying, people are obviously seeing these things happen so why don't they man up and do something about it. It is legal to restrain someone with cause until Police arrive. It is called a citizen arrest. Yet it is illegal to steal and enter a private property without permission. At least follow the car and find out where they are going! We can do this. If you love your little guy or girl then stand up for them... Coz we are all they have got and if it were the other way around, we all know they would give their lives to protect us!!!
