Hi there,
I am trying to find vege/vegan dog supplements or vitamins that you can put into your dogs food. I have found an awesome brand from the U.S called VegeDog but they aren't able to ship to Australia due to our custom laws on food sad They ship pretty much every place else)
I haven't been able to find any dog supplements in Australia and was wondering if you guys might know of any companies or brands?
I'm Vegan and would love for my dogs to become complete vege too. But i want to make sure they will get all the right vitamins. I have a few vege dog recipe books but I have read that dogs need a couple of supplements in their vege food also. Would love any info.
Thanks for your help happy
Have a happy and positive day happy

Vanilla Vegan, there are none of these supplements in Australia as far as I'm aware. Your best bet would be to buy vegan dry food, and mix some of it in with the meals you make. That way you can ensure your dog is getting all of it's required nutrients happy

There are two trusted brands of vegan dog food in Australia:
Veganpet - http://veganpet.com.au/articles/?page_id=8
Biopet - http://www.biopetonline.com.au/

Veganpet will even send you some free samples if you email them happy

Vanilla Vegan, I actually do as Vegesaurus suggests: mix VeganPet dry dog food into my dogs wet foot that I make at home.  And the best thing - my fussy dog eats the VeganPet dry dog food before anything else.

my puppy is vegan! i feed him veganpet biscuits and vegepooch!
http://www.vegepooch.com.au/
vegepooch also send free samples and their biscuits give your doggy all they need in the nutritional department! so just feed them the biscuits and then maybe make them a homemade meal at night with some biscuits soaked so they are mushyy!
AND my doggy LOVES biopets dog bones & vegan "pigs ears"

here are some good links about vegan dog nutrition & making your own dog food:

http://gentleworld.org/good-nutrition-for-healthy-vegan-dogs/

i also think vegan online sell flax seed oil for pets

you don't really need any supplements if you feed your doggy veganpet or vegepooch biscuits, because they are formulated to give your doggy every nutrient they need! n.n

since I stopped eating meaty meals, my dog has taken my place at the dinner table. hahah.
he is such a little boof and eats everything. we got a new fridge, so time to throw all the things out from 2005 from the old one (is a kelvinator older than me, going strongOmnomohms). he almost ate a whole Hawaiian pizza off the lawn, just so the birds couldn't have any. watching him run around with it in his mouth was great, when ever I cam near he'd trot around with his head in the air so it didn't drag.

but anyway, when ever i'm making something he just stares at me, it is so annoying.
and lots of the time I give him something and he just looks at it like "what the fawkins is this??" then keeps looking at me, like i'm eating something different.

hahah obviously my enjoyment of the foods merely conjure blank desires. PiC1:http://sta.sh/01thxq3ngr01 PiC2:

ohhh an update, i found this one!  http://store.augustineapproved.com/augustines-superboost-vegan-220g/
Not only is it a good supplement for dogs, but it's suitable for humans (which is very important to me, i wouldn't feed my babies anything i wouldn't eat)
You can make meals using it or just put it over vegan biscuits for a nutritional boost!

I just bought some, so i will give you all an update on how our doggies like it happy
xx
