The Fauna Fighters, Melbourne's masked activist team recently staged a petition drive and protest called Operation Damascus against David Lawrence Dept Store in Melbourne.
David Lawrence were at the time and have for quite some time supported the Chinese fur trade. Well, we're happy to announce that David Lawrence have pledged to end their sale and support of the Chinese fur trade. They will buy no more fur from said trade, and will cease sale of their already bought stock by 2013.

Awesome Job Fauna Fighters, I think its also needed to be said that PETA has had an international campaign against David Lawrence since last winter also!
Of course! PETA'S work has been incredible. It just shows how voices CAN be heard when individuals take the time to send emails and make their voices heard.
