Hi all. I've been a vegetarian for around 6 and a half years and I finally went Vegan on the 1st of August. I'm going to make a trip out to Flannery's supermarket today and was wondering if any of you vegan-gurus had any suggestions about any should-not-miss products to pick up. On my list so far is some quinoa (I've run out), agave nectar, savoury yeast flakes and some dried beans (I've only used canned beans before). Anything else?

Avocados! Haha, not exactly a vegan "inside tip", but they're just so good.

What is Flannery's btw? I've never heard of it before.

Thanks for the tips guys! Really appreciate it!

Anthony - I did end up buying avocados! 3 actually, they just looked so good! Flannery's (previously known as Mrs Flannery's) is a "natural and organic supermarket" which happens to stock a lot of vegan products. It seems to only be in Qld though. http://www.flannerys.com.au/

Beans Beans Beans! Soy alternatives are also yummy. I'm not sure if you have any alternatives in Aussie, since I live in U.S, but look!
