Hey everyone!
I haven't been using the forum very much of late. Have I missed any details of upcoming leafleting or other activism events? Would love to start getting more involved again happy

A new group called Melbourne Pig Save (http://www.facebook.com/MelbournePigSave) are holding demonstrations every 6 weeks. Their next one will be at Bourke St Mall on September 1st

Freedom for Farmed Rabbits have also been active lately (although there are no upcoming events listed here, they just had one yesterday http://www.facebook.com/FreedomFarmedRabbits)

Next month there is also the World Event to End Animal Cruelty (WEEAC) and they need volunteers on board

How about Perth? There's never much going on in the Perth area in terms of activism but I feel so frustrated doing nothing all the time.

That's all I could find coming up. Perhaps subscribe to ARA's activism email alerts?

I can't see the Facebook one, unfortunately, since I don't have an account.

Unfortunately I had work so I couldn't attend (and then proceeded to be sent home from work 7 hours early for being far too sick to serve customers...)

It'd be cool if we could make this a sticky thread so that whenever someone finds out about a new upcoming event, they could post it here.

By the by, anything else happening in Perth anytime soon?

Thought this was relevant peace
Hi All,

As you may be aware, we held a demonstration last week at Morphettville
racecourse to end jumps racing. Thank you to the 50 or so volunteers who
attending. Please see the attached photo of jumps horse Gotta Take Care who
fell in the hurdle.

We will again be holding a demonstration tomorrow outside Morphettville
racecourse for the Grand National Steeplechase and hold fears for the
horses running.

*We have had to change the time (due to the late starting of races), so if
you can come to Morphettville around 12.15pm for a 12.30pm start. *
*
*
If you would like us to bring a jumps racing t-shirt over for you, please
email us with your full name, size, colour and phone number. You can see
our range here:
www.horseracingkills.com/merchandise/

*
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to give me a call
on 0419 861 029. See y'all there.
