In school!
Me and my friend want to start fundrasing/group for animal welfare issues.
We want to fundraise money and donate it to animal welfare organizations ecstatic

We will talk to our teachers as soon as we can about it.
We want to raise awareness to animal cruelty issues that some people wouldn't know about.
Factory Farming/Live export/Palm oil products/ etc.

Maybe like a sausage sizzle, for Animals Australia.
Fundrasing for RSPCA, etc

Were not sure yet! happy
Also we want to collect signatures ( about thousand people in my school ) for Animals Australia love

Do you think this will be good? Now that my teachers found out i'm an animal activist and there so proud of me....im going to be a supppperrrr activist at school as well ecstatic

PS: SAUSAGE SIZZLE WOULD BE VEGETARIAN SAUSAGES.....sorry forgot to add that!

i've found that the trick is, to not advertise it as being a vegetarian sausage sizzle. it seems that many ~ignorant~ omnivores are turned off by that, but i've secretly fed my family vege sausages before with no complaints. oh and once we had a bake sale, and i made vegan chocolate mud cakes (as like, cupcakes) and they sold out early, but no one knew they were vegan.
MUAHAHAHA. good luck though, sounds like a great idea! happy

Don't forget you could always have things like corn on the cob, veggie kebabs etc. on the bbq too, yum!

Also good work having the initiative to not only do some fundraising and awareness raising but to start a whole group devoted to doing it!!! good work!
The school ground can be a great place to do this too happy! Good job!

I think it's a great idea, and I think that you can take advantage of any activity or event to keep doing these types of fundraisers. For example, whenever your school has a fair, sports carnival, school play, and so on, take that opportunity to do some campaign work happy

I tried to be active at my high school but there weren't many people interested. Its no good or fun when it's just you trying to make a difference.

Good luck!

This is an AWESOME idea. I was going to do something similar last year, but I waited to long and now I will do it when school starts.
