I tried so hard but I just couldn't so it  your meant to enjoy foods but being a vegan you can't I did learn one thing from trying to go vegan is to respect the food we have. I'm so sorry I'm ashamed of myself and hopefully others don't feel that way about me I might try again when I'm older but for nom I'm just sticking to a vegetarian diet.
it's not a good idea to enforce veganism on yourself like a detox diet.
It's better to replace one meal a day with vegan food.
The easiest is breakfast. Have soy milk on cereal, or just eat toast or a smoothie.
You could do that couldnt you?
And if you find that too easy you could try a vegan dinner every 3rd night.

Some people go almost vegan but cant live without cheese. Thats cool. Just do what you can.

If anyone ever asks why you are eating vegetarian pizza or whatever just say "I'm trying to eat less animals, because the less i eat, the less have to suffer"

(edit) oh just realized your vegetarian, well done. most of us werent even veggos at 12 so your already doing well

I agree, don't feel like you have to go fully vegan and that's it.. Any small swaps you make count. It's a matter of finding alternative products you like! Also, you'll find it's hard without support from parents/guardians (or anyone living with you really) at your age.
But keep up being veg and don't give up! happy

Mind telling us what you didn't enjoy? Maybe we can help! happy

I've been vegan for about two and a half years and I've never found myself not enjoying my food. One of the great things starting out was finding all these wonderful delicious things to eat I'd never tried before. Did you maybe just remove certain foods from your diet without adding different things in? That's a common enough mistake.

As other people said though, if it's difficult for you to go completely vegan at once, you can take little steps closer to veganism. Do what you find easiest first. I hope you don't stop trying - the decision to stop exploiting animals is a great one, even if not always an easy one.

I HAVE AN EXCELLENT IDEA:

Try this - they give you a 100% support and also ensuring you get all the nutrients you need.

People under the age of eighteen can't join. Charlotte is thirteen according to her profile. And $250 for a 28 day "detox"? Not such an excellent idea. Please don't push that stuff about "cleansing" on people. Especially not unsuspecting 13-year-olds on the internet. Also, veganism isn't a "cleanse" - it's a lifestyle. Trying out veganism for 30 days is a great idea but let's stick to the sane, affordable methods.

Charlotte, if you'd like more advice about actual real non-superstitious veganism, I (and I'm sure other members) would be happy to help you out with recipes etc.
