if its going to be your 'pet' take it home and keep it inside... foxes are eating all our native birds, reptiles and mammals...them, along with cats are wiping out our native species!
You say its close to a wetland? well the more you feed it the bigger it grows and the more animals it will eat. then it makes babies. and soon you may not have a very nice wetland area any more..bye bye natural envrionment...
im sorry for using the word pet , but off course i wouldnt take it home , foxes live in the wild so like most wild animals live off the land..im just helping it in case , i think you are overreacting , just a little , but thanks for ur comments
Perhaps consider taking the fox to the vet and have him/her desexed? That's what Animal Liberation SA recommends anyway (as opposed to population control by hunting)

Hm..Well i'm not overeacting.its the truth..foxes dont normally live in this kind of wild. they come from europe.introduced by stupid humans and now foxes are demolishing the native species that have lived here for a gazillion years...obviously a 1 foxes life is of more value to you that the 1000s of native birds, reptiles, and mammals it will kill in its life time..Thats not very animal friendly...I work in the bush..i know what im talking about..we catch them and put them to sleep all the time..when you get a look at its stomach contents you tend not to feel sorry for it...What will you think about foxes when we start to loose more of our species? if everyone cared and fed these foxes we would live in a country with no small native mammals, reptiles and birds..thats sure to really upset the ecosystems across this continent.what a disaster it would be..... i wish our ancestors werent so stupid..greedy bastards the lot of them...
