I've heard the toothpaste argument before, actually.


Drink lots of water, minimise greasy food/food high in added, refined sugar (like soft drink), eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies. I put a few drops of tea tree oil in warm water and splash it on my face after I cleanse/wash my face. Just make sure you moisturise after. The tea tree oil will dry out any excess sebum in your skin (the oil that causes pimples), but if your body feels like it doesn't have enough moisture in your skin, you'll start producing MORE sebum. Ergo, even if you have oily skin, be sure to moisturise!

Acne is very common problem for all teenagers & it is nothing to worry about.....!!! Usually it happens due to sleep deprivation or much stress that you are taking for your skin in these specific span of time. I am a dermatologist and I believe that acne is a psychological state which can be decreased with mental coolness  Smile
My sister have same problem and she have discovered a very interesting remedy. What she used to say "Apply a small amount of white toothpaste on the affected area before going to bed. The toothpaste will reduce the swelling and dry out the acne. Within a day or two, you should see significant improvement " Smile

I thought people use toothpaste to keep their teeth clean. Lol! I have  no wonder how to treat pimples with the help of toothpaste.
