Nutritionist is telling me veganism is tře reason of me having these problems and that i should get back eating eggs and fish (which i was eating before these problems started). I still eat clean and im trying to not exceed 1450kcal (my BMR is 1350). Im devastated because EVERYBODY is telling me that being veggie is the reason of my cramps bloating pain nasea and weight gain.... Eat smaller portions more frequently... this will help your metabolism, use less oil including naturally enriched foods like nuts... though all food has a percentage of oils so don't stress to much on getting essential oils, try and save the really oily ones for a every now and then thing happy

Do pilates... very good for weight loss, body toning and alignment , go for walks or better yet volunteer at a no-kill animal shelter and take the dogs for a walk happy

Are you eating a lot of starchy products or carbs to replace theme?

Potatoes, bread, pasta, rice?

Also what is some typical meals you have a day, just so I can understand your eating habits?

Are you eating lots of GMO foods (like convenient vegan meals)? Because you need to pay attention to if a product is quality not just if it i vegan/vegetarian... also fair trade too just thought id sneak that in there even though it is completely irrelevant happy

Filling up on seemingly super healthy convenient meals, such as vegetarian lasagne or quinoa with vegetables and cashews. Although vegetarian meals may feel light and contain healthy ingredients, they are often surprisingly high in calories. Frequently used vegan ingredients, like nuts, seeds, oils or soy cheeses, can pack in calories and fat. For example, a cup of steamed kale has 35 calories, but if it’s sautéed in two tablespoons of heart healthy olive oil, you’re suddenly looking at 275 calories!

"being vegan" isn't the problem.. how did you transition.. did you suddenly just drop your egg/fish dominated diet and start nibbling seeds (highly indigestible)... or did you try a variety of fruits and veges, slowly adding more of these in place of your old staples?

it isn't fair to expect your body to have NO adverse reactions to any hasty changes. think of being vegan for years then only eating steak. your body would be just as WTF?

Your digestive system is probably adjusting. Also do your rely heavily on Gluten based foods. Breads, pasta, cereals? Because maybe it is Gluten. perhaps try rice, potatoes as a basis. More fresh veges at night/lunch and fruits in the morning.

Also Oats are one of the easiest digested grains, so Oatmilk instead of SOYA. Which for one isa  huge clog and secondly I doubt it to be very animal friendly. Anyway... rice milk, oat milk, almond milk (almonds can be upsetting for stomachs ~ slightly toxic)... are good. There is even quinoa milk out now. Keep exploring. MILK you used to rely on and "...Milk" are not the same thing.. They are a powdered then hydrated form of ONE grain with a bit of sunflower oil or salt.

But like... when is the right time to stop breast feeding. When you can crawl, walk, run or roll. If without machines or hands, people would just be suckling cow boob all day.

How they can pass that image off as being more mature and superior is beyond me.
Apart from the whole shiny packaging thing.

That's right i agree!! its not veganism, and it isn't even the transitioning period either especially because over the period of a year your body would already be used to the change.

Your body works harder to digest meat then what it doe to digest fruit and vegetables as fruit and veggie, so changing to veggies is simply easier and less work for your body, then what it is used to so its definitely not veganism.

With the transitioning, I know many vegans that transitioned over night from omnivore right to vegan and have never had a problem...some of them stayed the same while others even lost weight. You need protein foods, and less carbs and starchy food...

I disagree with the comment of Casper.s2 when he says eat plenty of potatoes... that is starchy food and large consumption of it can be just as bad as bread.

Alternatively he does have a great point about eating more fruit and veggies, try to have fruit for break fast (like he said) because having a light moist meal first thing kit starts your metabolism... i enjoy smooties!! (back in the day people had fruit for break fast and also some even would have a glass of water and squeeze a lemon in it - meant to be good for metabolism. And well they must have done something right because back in the 60's you didn't see many over weight people)  I also agree with the oats theory very good for you. As do I agree that having to much soy can be bad and that your should definitely experiment with your options, but if i was you i would interchange them each week as all vegan milk options can be bad.

quinoa milk...? i personally have never heard of it, where can you get it from?

And keep away from GMO food in large quantities, very bad. (also again referencing to back in the day, before GMO there were less overweight people)

Also i was thinking, how is your sleeping pattern...?  8hr a day is what is recommended, seems weird that it would affect weight gain but funnily enough it does. happy

... and yes I also agree it would also be due to so many processed foods.
I know they've made me lazy - so much easier to cook a Fry's schnitzel and have with a salad than to get out the food processor and hopefully have the necessary ingredients on hand.

Have you tried the Paula McCartney Peri Peri burgers?  They are the best burgers I've ever had not because of the taste but they have a chewy solid texture which is missing in so much veg*n food.

I've bought the book I mentioned above and I'm really going to have to force myself to stop being lazy and get back healthy home cooking (with the occasional McCartney burger happy ).
Yes - you mean the Linda McCartney Peri Peri Burgers happy - they are AMAZING!! The texture is just as you say, and on a (vegetarian) hamburger they are so delicious! I have cooked hamburgers using those for my meat eating family and they loved them! The Peri Peri gives a slight "zing" the burger, but not so much that it's overpowering.

I am talking about a 'hamburger' made with the toasted hamburger bun, BBQ sauce, caramelised cooked onion rings, tomato, lettuce, beetroot and optional cheese - amazing made using these burgers. Honestly, I dont think most meat eaters would know the difference.
