Okay, I'll continue this topic by adding that I had birthday feast last night and I had some veg foods.

Also mum made dumplings with pumpkin and onion. Any other recipies?

I'm a big fan of this lasagne: http://whyveg.com/recipes/make_this.php?recipe=8

Due to having chickens as beloved pets, any food that has to do with them has taken off of my plates.

Last night, while we were shopping in Arndale, my mom was about to buy chicken schnitzels, my mom suddenly remembered that we had taken chicken off of our plates.

Yay! Veg birthday feasts are the best. I have been vegan now for two years and my Mum made me a pineapple upside-down cake last year and this year she made me a strawberry 'cheesecake." I'd like to point out that I am 28 so she really doesn't need to do this for me, however she's created a tradition now!

Anyway, my advice is to just stick with what cuisines you normally did but take out the animal products. Try pastas and lasagnes, stirfries, curries, burritos and enchiladas, soups, stews, pies (Pampa's puff pastry is vegan), Thai style curries, laksas etc. I usually take each meal or snack as it comes and don't overthink it.
