I can't afford any of the vegan 'cheeses' although I'm glad because I reckon they all taste terrible and are a waste of money. I have tried just about all of them (except Daiya) and they've ended up in the bin.

I'm used to pizza now without cheese and I think I get enjoy the flavours better now they're not smothered in all that oily fat.

i personally just use nutritional yeast for most stuff or me and my partner split a thing of tofutti slices once a week and that works out alright

i like vegan cheese but its definitely not the cheapest thing

Today I finally found a vegan cheese it's relatively easy to get and doesn't too bad when it's grilled on toast or used on pizza. Its about $10/250g so still expensive and won't be a regular in this household.  I bought mine from Harris Farm Markets.  From what I've read on Facebook it's widely available at least in Sydney and Melbourne.

I have lived in the US and know Daiya products...BEWARE their blocks and slices hare made from Palm Oil from Brazil AND Titanium Dioxide commonly found in paints! ( check out their own QA on the Daiya website). Lots of health risks there.. Not sure about the hefty price . I'm so frustrated that Daiya think we are so stupid. Give it a miss and tell your friends...

Oh...Forgot to say I note Daiya say they don't use Palm Oil and Titanium Dioxide in their shred products.... Only used in Block and Slices...Well of course we can trust them to keep those batches seperate! Yeah right....How can you trust them?

Oh gosh I spent like $9 on a 'tube' type thing of that King one..whatever it's called.

The smell was enough to make me want to throw it away. Blerk
