I've been vegetarian since I was 12. At first, the choice was because some (now obsolete) pop star was veg but after that I started reading up on animal cruelty. I realised my imagination was also incredibly vivid. I couldn't look at meat as food anymore - I could visualise how the animal looked and felt before hand. So I've remained a vegetarian ever since.

It's only recently, after learning about Bobby calves and other forms of cruelty in relation to how dairy is produced, that I've thought of going vegan. I've put my name down for the vegan challenge in March.
