I am a vegan, and I think it is really really sad that so many animals are killed ever year.  I don't agree that humans NEED to eat meat, I think people just say that because they don't want to accept the fact that they are KILLING animals just for some dinner.  The worst thing is when people say "it doesn't make a difference if I eat meat because they are going to kill the animals anyway."  That is just so not true!  And the animals DO have feelings, it has been PROVEN that cows mourn when their babies are taken away from them. So it is stupid to think that you can't make a difference to the animals' suffering.
