Hey, my names Hatty, I'm from England but currently living in Australia on my working holiday visa. I'm on my gap year after finishing my degree in Applied Zoological Conservation in Cornwall. I loved my corse and during my final year, realised that I wanted to work against the illegal wildlife trade. I focused alot of my studies and reports around this matter and learnt a lot of horrifying things that wildlife is subjected to on an hourly basis. I've always been passionate about animal welfare from pets to farm animals and wish to go further now to protect animals being taken from the wild (often endangered) to be harvested for meat, medical testing, pet trade, fur trade, human entertainment etc.
Id love to get involved with Animals Australia investigation unit and help wherever I can not only whilst I'm here in the country (another 19 months) but for my lifetime. I follow the work they do and am inspired by how resilient the team is but more importantly, am so grateful for the vital work they do to save and protect animals from their peril. So THANK YOU- you're all amazing! I've joined Unleashed to get my voice out there and to be part of a movement that means so much to me. Peace out.
