Mother pigs, unable to turn around in restrictive sow stalls, bite cage bars in frustration, suffer depression and endure countless physical ailments. Coles has taken a major step toward improving their lives with a commitment to make their home brand pork, bacon and ham products sow stall free by 2014. Now it's time for other retail giants to make a similar commitment.

• Write or telephone Aldi – Click here to find your nearest Aldi store and ask that they stop selling pig products produced using cruel outdated methods such as sow stalls.
• Fill in a customer feedback form – All animals in factory farms suffer needlessly. Next time you visit the supermarket, please ask them to refuse to stock factory farmed products.
• Help pigs here and now -- make the Pro Pig Pledge! Everyone can help end cruelty to pigs simply by refusing to purchase cruelly-produced products.
