This milk ad beats all other milk ads in my opinion. Watch and see if you agree :)

Produced by Scratch Creative / Directed by Johnny Brookbank

Fave bit:

Milkman: "You sure don't look like a baby cow."
Mustard shirt: "I'm not a baby cow."
Milkman: "Could've fooled me!"

Unfortunately we don't get Silk milk here in Aus but we do have other yummy almond milks.

So if you don't want to be mistaken for a baby cow, get on to some milk with nuts ... or another dairy-free option. There's heaps to choose from.

If you're sitting there thinking "what happens to the baby cows whose milk humans are drinking?" I have the answer for you, but you're not going to like it. Here's the truth you never knew about dairy:

Don't want to be part of an industry that kills baby animals? Make the switch to dairy-free today.

Congratulations to the five winners of the 3 minute chocolate challenge. Your yummy prize packs are on their way. I know the sensible advice to give would be ‘don’t eat them all at once’ but in this case I would recommend eating them all as fast as you possibly can! And then acting like it never happened ... This kid knows what I’m talking about.

Why? Because since exposing the truth about bobby calves in the dairy industry, there’s a whole lotta people with a taste for dairy-free choccies. In fact, an awesome 96% of people who watched the 3 minute video picked the dairy-free option over cow’s milk. Which means the big winners in this are bobby calves! Every time you choose a dairy-free alternative, you are taking a stand against cruelty to the ‘unwanted’ calves of the dairy industry.

If you’ve been on the look-out for new dairy-free recipes, has a bunch of my personal favourites – apple cinnamon muffins, raw chocolate SUPERFOODS brownie, and mac ‘n’ cheeze! Yep! All dairy-free :)

What’s more, if you missed out on a choccie prize pack this time around, you can get your hands on them ANYTIME you want in our online store. Try the chocolate coated cranberries. They’re new! And delicious.

And, because we just can’t get enough of giving stuff away for free, we’ve got a new comp up and running already! Click here to win a cute Give A Stuff stuffed toy – also dairy-free laugh

Free dairy-free choccies. For free!

Free dairy-free choccies. For free!

Dairy is a bit of a hot topic lately. Did you hear that Dave Hughes has taken up a milk free challenge? “Milk is for baby cows,” Hughesy said. (Click here to send him a message of support.)

What's more, just recently health experts declared that there is no nutritional need for humans to drink cow’s milk. Which makes sense since after all, I’m not a calf. Are you?

I’ve known for a long time that I wasn’t a cow but I’m so pleased that doctors are finally figuring it out too. So I’m celebrating in the best way possible -- by eating LOADS of dairy-free chocolate. (Skip to the bottom of this blog to find out how you can get your hands on some too.)

Harvard professor Dr Ludwig has said that you can get more calcium from kale than you can from cow’s milk. That means one bowl of this kale and avo salad and you’ll have calcium coming out your ears! But if you’re like me and the thought of eating kale makes your face do this, --> don’t fret because you can also get calcium from nuts, seeds, beans and green leafy vegetables, including my personal fave: broccoli (Check out what else the experts are saying about dairy by clicking here). (That’s not really me in the picture by the way. Although I did have that fringe in primary school.)

The best part about getting calcium from plant sources is that there are no casualties. A lot of Aussies don’t realise that over 700,000 dairy calves (called bobby calves) are killed as ‘waste’ every year.

Thankfully it’s easy to save the lives of dairy calves. Simply give dairy the flick. There are so many great dairy-free alternatives out there these days! Have you been to the milk aisle in your local supermarket lately? Soy milk, oat milk, rice milk, almond milk ... it’s a dairy-free smorgasbord.

And what’s the most delicious use of cruelty-free milk? Cruelty-free chocolate! So let’s get on with it, shall we?

The prize: I have 5 heavenly dairy-free chocolate packs to give away. I don’t use the word ‘heavenly’ lightly. I promise that after one taste you will want MOOOOOOre. (Classic cow gags. Couldn’t help myself.)

How to win: Easy - click here and take the 3 minute chocolate challenge. (Ends 30 September.) Good luck!

I can hardly contain my excitement as I write this... There has been so much chatter about dairy-free chocolate on the forum recently that we thought we would share the love even further and give away some vegan chocolate.

That's right FREE CHOCOLATE!

In fact, we've all gone a little chocolate-mad with two new chocolate gift packs for sale in the Unleashed shop. And believe me, there's a good reason they call them 'Constant Craving' truffles. If you want to impress someone, I promise you, the only thing you'll ever need to do is get them some of these...

Each pack includes five dreamy varieties including Jaffa Delight, Coffee, Scorched Almond, Coconut, and Apricot Dream.

Ok ok ok, back to the free chocolate :-) If you want to get your hands on free pack of these melt-in-your-mouth truffles simply leave a comment below and tell us why you deserve them. We'll send the most worthy candidate a chock-filled gift to satiate those constant cravings...
