Here we go again ... WWF and 2 Swedish groups have filed a court order to stop the planned hunt in Jan. Between 10 & 14% of the ENTIRE wolf population will be shot (about 400 wolves in Sweden).
Hunters in central Sweden killed a wolf on Saturday as they began an authorized cull of the predators that has been clouded by legal uncertainty.
The animal was shot and killed near the town of Ludvika in Dalarna County.
Under a temporary ruling, 14 animals can be killed until the hunting season ends on February 15 unless the Supreme Administrative Court issues a final decision ahead of that date.
The Elmer Fudd gang have had to increase the hunting area as those pesky wolves have moved out of the supposed area.
4 wolves have been killed, but as it's -20 C everybody's just trying to keep warm.
