The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) will be conducting cruel and deadly trauma trainings on live animals this weekend. Please go to the organization's Facebook and Twitter pages today and urge administrators to cancel the trainings and end the use of live animals altogether.
Despite the availability of humane and educationally superior human-patient simulators that are already used in numerous countries, RACS continues to cut holes into the throats, chests, and limbs of live animals in a surgical training course offered across Australia and New Zealand.
