VEGAN BURGERS at McDonalds and Hungry Jacks will be a big win. HOW TO, AND...???

This is probably one of the biggest keys to reducing animal suffering. McDonalds and Hungry Jacks are both going to be around for sometime serving meat burgers. One thing that could really reduce the sales is having an awesome tasting vegan burger on the same menu. McDonalds don't even have a vegetarian option, GRRRR. The veggie burger at hungry jacks, although taste decent. It is a very poor veggie patty, consisting of mainly potato I believe, and loaded with oil.

Any out of the box ideas to get vegan burgers into the major burger chains? and any other thoughts? Would a mock meat burger be the right direction or something more natural such as a lentil patty or bean variety etc. ?

All the best to everyone and positive energy transferred throughout the universe!

Since McDonald's are synonymous with meat burgers I would think a wholesale change would be needed or a spin-off.
As long as McDonald's sell meat I don't intend to support their business. Sorry!

I see what you are saying, but deterring sales from there meat burgers towards a vegan alternative would be a big win, even if it was to profit mcdonalds further. Sometimes sleeping with the enemy is necessary in order to make progress in the right direction.

A vegan burger though is still an oxymoron to me ...

Got this today in my mailbox, from Mercy for Animals http://www.mercyforanimals.org/
"The Good Food Institute’s mission is to create a healthy, humane, and sustainable food supply. How? By supporting innovation in the food space. By supporting the development of meat, dairy, and egg alternatives that outcompete their outdated counterparts in the marketplace.

Earlier this month, Memphis Meats stormed the food and tech worlds by announcing the first-ever cultured meatball—real beef, grown without animal slaughter. The same day, Gelzen announced its plans to completely take over the gelatin industry with gelatin grown in fermenters; no animals required.

The Good Food Institute provided support to both companies and MFA’s brand-new venture capital firm, New Crop Capital, provided lead investments. Both of these MFA organizations focus entirely on disrupting animal agriculture using food technology and markets to create products that are tastier, cheaper, and more convenient than conventional meat, dairy, and eggs."
