Wildlife killed in numbers in local area

Possums in need of help

I am hoping to let people know that we have an issue with our local power lines and a large number of possums are dying as a result. It is clear there is one power pole that is not properly set up to deter wildlife and at least 10 or more possums this year alone have died on the one power pole. It could be  an even higher number of deaths than this as I am only counting the possums I have seen and buried that were electrocuted on the pole. The last 2 nights we had a possum a night die on this one power pole. I have called both Energex and RSPCA over a number of months to stop the wildlife using the power pole and getting electrocuted. Both organisations have not solved the problem and the deaths continue. I do not know what to do! This is occurring in Brisbane. I have started taking photos of each possum death as evidence of the large number of possums killed. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to get some resolution to this issue. It is heart breaking seeing all these possums die!
