Hey there,
I'm really new to being a vegan and this complete life change!! So please be nice..
I watched a really distressing video on YouTube 6 days ago about slaughterhouses and animal cruelty  and some REALLY graphic images keep replaying through my mind almost every minute of the day... is this normal? I couldn't finish the whole video I was completely shocked and distraught.

I feel as though I've got some sort of anxiety/ PTSD from this.. will it go away? Any advice?
As soon as I turned it off I went vegan.. sounds silly saying that but it's true..
THANKS happy

Congrats on taking the red pill! happy
No, it's not nice to understand what's going on. Every time you eat now, you'll remember or think differently about what your eating. It is not the status quo of the TV ads etc. anymore.

It's hard to watch videos (it's supposed to be) and I've seen enough not to have to watch them all. If you can sit and watch them without reacting then you've a problem.

One person can not stop animal cruelty but you don't have to support it. Sometimes the best thing to do, is not do something.

Glad to hear you feel better. If you have any questions ask here on the forum and the web is full of info.

Animals Australia has a webpage for alternative vegan foods at http://www.animalsaustralia.org/features/dairy-free-shopping-list.php
