i saw them at work the other day, it's rowie's cakes brand. i had a look at the ingredients too but noticed all it had to say about the marshmellows in the ingredients was 'marshmellows'. nothing about what they were possibly made out of ie; gelatine. so i decided not to take the chance. the only way to find out would be to contact them i would imagine. :]
Yeah, that's the brand! But thought they would have to state gelatine? I'll contact them now... hope they're vegan...
let me know if you get a response. they look yummy.

Hi Guys,
Unfortunately these aren't vegan, from the manufacturer:

Firstly, thank you for buying. My Rowie’s Yummy Rocky Road does have gelatine in the marshies. The marshies are egg free.
I do hope you can eat it as it is beautiful!
Rowie.
However it looks like there is hope as he/she/they also added:

we’re working on importing marshies without gelatine. Please keep a look out. Rowie.
i don't know, but agar does all the same things as gelatine, except that it's made out of seaweed. They use it to make agar jelly, for use in science stuff Not sure if you can just get it in supermarkets, you'll have to have a look.
agar agar is usually a vegan form of gelatine. (algae based.)
ALDI chicken stock is vegan. The 'chicken' is a soy derived flavouring.
Oreos (I think just the american ones?) are vegan. go figure.
Lindt chocolate (and many other brands) with over 70% cocoa are dairy free..... not sure if any of the additives are animal based.
Felafal kebabs.... how I love living in Brunswick.
Lord of the Fries.....delicious.
I don't like to support big chains like McDonalds or HJ's etc. But it is nice to be able to eat SOMETHING on the menu if that's where everyone ends up at 3am.
When ordering at Indian restaurants, check for Ghee if you're to keen to eat completely vegan.
at Asian restaurants, Tom Yum is a base soup that's usually free of shrimp paste or oyster sauce. Check Pho and other soup bases for chicken stock, even if it's in the vegetarian section.

YOU HAVE JUST MADE MY NIGHT!!!
Lindt is vegan. Sweet Williams chocolate is vegan (it's like dairy free dairy chocolate so it's sweet and they have a white version). They're the only ones I've ever found.

I know I mention it every time chocolate is mentioned on this forum, but Cocolo's dark chocolate varieties are vegan. I wanna take them behind the middle school and get 'em pregnant!
/chocolic broken record.
