Hey, today is World Environment Day! Perfect opportunity to do a bit of aweness-campaigning heehee
I've printed off a few of the peta Meat's Not Green posters and stuck them up at school, and left some flyers in a pocket outside my year level's co-ordinator. Also, a younger grade's environment group is doing some sort of 'green tips' thingie that they're going to put up next week, so i emailed a bunch of stuff about vegetarianism and the environment to their co-ordinating teacher. I talked to the teacher later and she said that they're going to post my tip in the list, but she also said that they can't promote vegetarianism too much in the younger grades because of the 'health' thing, that would probably be more aimed at the senior years. Still, I'm glad the info's getting out there, and hopefully it will do some good.
Is anyone else doing/has done something for World Environment Day?
