Urge the South Korean government to protect all dogs and cats from the cruel dog meat industry: https://secure.humanesociety.org/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=7392

Sadly, with South Korea’s annual “Bok Nal” days quickly approaching, this is life right now for more than one million dogs who will be slaughtered for human consumption.

Unlike in China, where the majority of dogs are captured from the streets, dogs in South Korea are bred specifically to be killed for their meat. Most are less than a year old, their lives cut short after having known nothing but fear and misery on the farms where they were raised solely for this purpose.

Most of those who survive months of suffering in barren cages will be electrocuted. Violently pulled from their cages -- in full view of other dogs -- their final moments are both terrifying and painful.

But YOU can help put an end to this atrocity. Please urge the South Korean government to protect all dogs and cats from the cruel dog meat industry.
