come on the rest of y'all melbournian unleasians! for every extra person coming, we can probably shift an extra 150-200 leaflets. and with a conservative guess that 0.5-1% of people who recieve the literature will make changes to their diet, that's another 1, maybe 2 new vegetarian/vegans! That's a saving in a lifetime of around 60,000 lives!

So be a lifesaver; make a difference; be at flinders street station at 11am! happy

Anna, I believe that Animals Australia would like to get this kind of thing going in other Capital cities, however at the moment I don't believe any thing is happening regularly.

To my knowledge this is the regulare leafletting in Australia (although there may be other stuff going on)

- VVSQ does Why Vegan? leafletting in Brisbane on Saturdays
- I organise weekday stuff  for Aniamls Australia & at RMIT (Why Vegan?)
- Melbourne University does weekly leafletting (Why Vegan? and other leaflets)
- "Arnie Viv" & friends of mine do various vivisection leafletting in Melbounre
- Animal Lib ACT has talked about about Vegan Outreach leafletting
- ALV leaflets outside KFC when they do their protests
- Matt & Rochelle are starting at weekends

Frankly, that's not much happening on a regular basis.

I think that's about it for *regular* leafletting. This is actually quite important, as leafletting is an extremely effective and cost effective way to reach a lot of people.
And this forum is a great way to get this going!

If you are interested, I suggest you start a thread on the Forum under activism, and see if you can find friends in Perth to start doing this. I suggest you also talk to Jesse, as he will know if other people in Perth have asked about this.

You may also  consider getting in touch with the WA group "Stop Live Exports", even if you arn't really into the Live Export campaign, you will meet some great people in that group - it seems really well run, and some may want to join you doing Animals Australia leafletting.

Doesn't anyone do anything in SA? I thought I saw a few posts about leafletting/protests a few months back ... and as I'm moving to Adelaide this weekend I'd love to get involved more with Animals Australia. happy I just don't really have the time/resources/contacts to organise leafletting myself.

I don't know, although if no one from Unleashed answers, it might also be worth talking to Animal Liberation South Australia.
I'm meeting someone from them tomorrow, I'll try to remember to ask if they know about anything.

Also - it's worth asking Jesse at Animals Australia.
