What would you come up with as a tactic to support Animal Rights aswell as spread the word for causes?

I personally would hold a gig full of Australian bands with all profits going towards Animal Australia- this targetting young adults of Australia and letting people know what Unleashed is all about happy

You can put on that gig anyways!
But yeah.. would probably be better if ran through a group or organization.. in terms of being able to delegate and promote more successfully.

invest all funds into the arming of the organization... ak-47s and molotov cocktails sound ok. then have an uprising. a revolution.

yeah sydney independent music scene seemed to have a very different attitude towards animal rights compared to melbourne.. from my brief experience.
regardless,
http://redrattler.org/ have it here! they have a special rate for charity events! and yeah... just generally a really really sweet creative space/venue.

Is it just me or does the floor look like a slope? Wouldn't be too good for mosh. I would ave it at Hype in Castle Hill or PCYC in Blacktown as they're quite popular places for Sydney's music scene but yeahh I dunno haha
Good idea though..maybe if they do it in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and if it becomes popular enough, it could become a yearly thing.

In real life, the floor is in fact.. not sloped! it does kind of look like a gigantic red velvet bed though if you haven't slept for long enough and the light is dim enough..
anyways.. the reason i suggested red rattler is because no matter happens, you turn a profit, because in their own words:
"NOT FOR PROFIT – free (50c eco-tax taken at door as above)
Defined as solidarity benefits; can have door charge or free entry, but no individual being paid for their work."
so basically, they take 50 cents of whatever you charge at doors.. and nothing else. sorry for the rant!
