If you're free tomorrow night and live around Newcastle, then I've got just the thing for you.
Unleashed is looking for people to collect petition signatures for our Hungry Jack's petition outside the Lady Gaga show tomorrow night (Sat, 20th March). There will be thousands of young people queuing up to get in for the show, so this will be a fantastic opportunity to speak up for animals!
The Hungry Jack's petition we use at concerts plays a double role: To put pressure on HJ's to improve standards for animal. And also importantly, it helps us make new contacts (ie. via the email section). Over time we can engage these new contacts to inspire them to make important personal choices to help animals. So this petition gathering is an invaluable part of Unleashed's efforts.
The lovely volunteer, Lara will be there collecting signatures, so if you'd be keen to assist, that'd be a huge help!
You'll need to get to the Newcastle Entertainment Centre between 6 and 6:30pm and you'll only need to stick around for an hour or two, till the crowd has gone in. All you'll need to take with you is a clipboard (or something for people to lean on when writing), petition sheets and a pen.
So if you're free tomorrow night and would like to spend a couple of hours speaking up for animals, please let me know asap.
