A new law that would make 20% of Australia's electricity clean and renewable is due to be voted on next week in the Senate in Canberra.

But this week key senators said they want to delay the vote by launching an unnecessary inquiry, therefore delaying action on climate change

I remember when the whole economic recession situation arose the PM said something alone the lines of we need to put climate change aside and focus on what's before us (the recession). Well when we're sitting through boiling hot summers, dealing with major rising sea levels and loss of biodiversity, will climate change be important to you Mr Prime Minister? Oh yeah, I signed it too!
