From their website. Obviously if you were vegan you wouldn't eat them, and "glucose solids" seems to me that they could have animal tissue somewhere. It's a sneaky way of putting animal products into food.
i wouldn't give McDonalds a dime for ANYHTING - of course, for the animal cruelty reasons.. but also I don't know if I 100% trust the people that work there. My friend worked there for some time and the things he told me that went on "at the back" are disgusting. but of course, "if you pay them peanuts, you'll get monkeys."
I know of a girl who used to work at Maccas years ago. Apparently they did have pig fat in their ice-cream then and their fries were cooked in lard.
They seem to have changed a lot of their formulas because now their fries are supposed to be cooked in either canola or sunfower oil. Still, I won't give Maccas the time of day. If you want your hot chips, go to Lord of the Fries ( Melbourne). I like their vegan cheese!
I worked at Wendy's Supa Sundaes and their softserve mix had pig fat specifically listed on the ingrediants.
Before softserve is frozen through the machine its just a big bucket of water, chemicals and fats. Not to mention bacteria.
