Thanks Jamison -- and good point. We represent all of Aus, so it can be hard to pin point what's going on everywhere -- but this is definitely something we're hoping to build more into the site very soon so that it's easy for everyone to get involved. Stay tuned!
Yep, a calender would be awesome! Full of not only unleashed & animals australia events, but anything animal-welfare/animal-rights related
i second that!
also, unleashed/Animals Australia probs doesn't need it yet, but later on down the track when the sites get pretty big, a site search bar (is that what it's called?) would be very useful. So, people could search "animal experimentation" for eg, and get all of AA's press releases, news articles, web pages, blogs etc related to that.
Good point -- we just added search to the forum (see the little search link up the top of the white area of the page?) That will pull up Unleashed search results only.
There's always been a search on the Animals Australia site -- it's also up the top of the page on the Animals Australia website, above the navigation bar.
Hard to find, maybe, 'cos there's so much going on on that site!

Nah, uhhhm..... It IS lacking in info about stuff going on. If someone was to hold a rally or go leafletting in the city i'd love to go, but theres no info on it, and i'm not too keen on organising it myself. If there was more stuff on whats going on out there, i'd be more into it
Jamison,
Very good point. It is hard for the Animals Australia team (which is quite a small team with a lot on their hands) to organise things like demos, etc. Although not exactly a demo, I am organising stuff in support of Animals Autralia in Melbourne. We've done a handful of mini stalls on Bourke Street, and at the moment these are tiny, as we only have a handful of people helping. However with enough people this could really take off. If you are interested please see my post about our stall this Saturday. I have over 20 of the big anti-live export posters, hundreds of leaflets, the petitions, unleashed stickers to give out, etc. With enough people we could get people lined up down Bourke STreet, next to people doing the leafletting. It is still early days, and any help is very welcome!
If you're wanting to get involved in any local actions, keep an eye on this forum -- if you're planning your own action or want to find a few people to leaflet or petition with in your town -- post a thread here!
