It would be good to have a 'Vegan/Vegetarian's guide to grocery shopping'. A pdf document I can take shopping that lists animal friendly/non-animal friendly brands and products. A document that tells me which products have animal gelatine/animal based additives etc. Doesn't need to cover everything (I know cashews are vegan) but just some of the stuff that's not obvious - like the breads that have fish oil! I've seen PETA's version but a lot of their stuff isn't really relevant to Aust...

Perhaps it can be a collaboration of knowledge? I'm just having trouble....I'm being told lots of different things! So confusing! If there's one already on here - please let me know!

If you go to vnv.org.au you can find the list of numbers which are not ok for vegetarians/vegans.

But i think it would be really cool if Unleashed brought out some sort of card that you can carry around all time which lists the numbers that aren't ok - probably would have to be double-sided. idk.. just thinking out aloud.

Ooh, just thought of another one... a search engine... not just for the forum but anything on the Unleashed site.

And a list of daily and/or overall top posters!

the "awards" we have on our profile page... leather free, wool free, vegetarian, etc... how about a vegan badge? ecstatic
Ooh seconded. It might give people thinking about going vegan a little extra incentive
lookatme
Just a quick update: you can now get your shiny Vegan Badge by updating your profile. Change your answer to Question 6. in the pop quiz to say you're vegan.  clap

I know the site is Australia wide, but it might be nice to have a calender / events section for each State for people to post to.
Currently if I post leafletting for Melbourne, everyone round the country sees it, so I have to remember to put Melbourne in the subject line.
