Introduce yourself!

Sup? I'm Jo, I'm currently living in Hobart, Tasmania and I'm sixteen years old. I found Unleashed off someones myspace a while ago and it just made much more interested in taking on a Vegetarian diet.  
I prefer eating skittles and sour worms over cake, to be honest but if someone offers me some lemon cake I'd take that any day.
I'm currently wearing my causebands (Y), a Miles Away shirt and trackies currently listening to Mandala by No Apologies.  
I prefer a thunderstorm over a sunny day, but that's me. I think thunder is stunning.

1. Where are you from?
Sunbury, VIC. Although i grew up in healesville.. i've moved around a lot, lol.

2. How did you find Unleashed?
I found Animals Australia on google and then i found Unleashed on there after i registered.

3. Cake, or candy?
Touch choice. Cake's easier than candy now that i have braces, but i do love candy.

4. What are you wearing?
Black long-sleeved top, purple singlet, grey pants.

5. Rain, hail, or shine?
Rain, definitely. the smell, the colours...dancing in it.. heaven for me.

6. What are you listening to right now?
The Glee cast version of "Keep Holding On" by avril lavigne.

7. Anything else you want to add!
ummm... I'm not vegan, before anyone asks.. I'd love to be but i like/need the meat in my diet too much. I've converted to cage-free eggs and I'm avoiding pork and stuff like that. What else....I'm up for protests/demonstrations/etc if anyone from Melbourne wants to rally together in the city sometime I'll do everything and anything i can to help.

I don't mean to sound judging at all, but what do you mean by you like the meat in your diet too much? And just for the record, whether you eat meat or not, everyone is welcome here. If you want to though know how to go vegetarian in the future, and how to deal with the parentals if they're a problem... you've come to the right place. EVERYONE on here will do their best to help you out. Just start a new thread when and if you're ready.

Anyway, onto your question; the best thing you do to help animals is to go vegetarian. It's easy, healthy and it will save 100 animals a year (see the counter on top of the screen? that's how many lives have been saved by Unleashed members alone!)

I'm from a tiny town in south gippsland in vic called nyora (has anyone else heard of it? i thought not)

ummmmm i was at a kisschasy concert and some awesome guys from unleashed where there so i joined the next day

i would have to say candy, but the kind without gellitan obviously

pez! my boyfriend gave me about 20 packets of pez for my birthday. I love it.

tank top and jeans.

I've been vego 6 years and vegan on and off for about a year now. About to start studying Marine Science at uni, I used to be a vet nurse but was so appauled by what happens I left. I miss the practice I worked in, can't beat country practice!
