I just spotted that too! Sounds good happy

Jack, you're right, Striking at the Roots is a fantastic book. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to help animals.

I'd also recommend Ethics Into Action by Peter Singer. It's an autobiography of Henry Spira. If anyone doesn't know who he is, I'd definitely recommend you read a bit about him. A very inspiring fellow.

Bruce Friedrich and Matt Ball put a book out recently too, called "The Animals Activists Handbook". I have it on order .. will let you know how it is when it gets here.

Yes Animal Liberation by Peter Singer is the excellent.

I also loved Mad Cowboy by Howard Lyman (very quick and easy read, Lyman has a great sense of humour). He's the cattle farmer turned vegan that got the US cattle industry sueing him and Oprah Winfrey.

I have a heap of AR books that I haven't read or finished too. Those two I've read from front to back/couldn't put down and highly recommend. I finished Ethics of Eating (Singer) not as good as Animal Liberation IMHO.
