Hi All, A couple of months ago it was brought to my attention the plight of a young mother cat and her 3-4 month old kitten. Mother was already heavily pregnant and she still had a kitten from the previous litter hanging off of her - much to her disgust. Mother and kitten were extremely thin and traumatised by the owners feral kids and so I stepped in and took ownership of the two of them and added them to my 'pride' of little big cats. Mother was feral and untrusting - not too mention starving of food, water and affection. No Prob! 5 weeks after rescuing her she gave us 5 gorgeous kittens...she now follows me everywhere and i mean everywhere, the kitten that was already with her has been rehomed and 2 of the current litter have gone together to their new home. i NEED the 3 others rehomed. i already have 5 of my own rescued cats and now possible intend on keeping mother cat. all of my cats are l raised on raw food only and if anyone can take the kittens on, i would hope for the same diet to be continued for them. they have all thrived fantastically and are all very affectionate and playful. IF you can help or know someone who can offer a furrever home, please email me at thanks -karen
Go around to all your local vets and ask to put a poster up in their reception area and give them your contact details, I know we used to get lots of phone calls from people wanting to adopt kittens.
