VOTE to Ban Jumps Racing!

Horses die in Jumps Racing at a rate 20x higher than horses on the flat track.

TODAY was the first death on the jumps course in 2010 in Victoria. Vote on the poll on the Herald Sun website to tell the government that this was the final straw and jumps racing must be banned.

This is not the first fatality of 2010 - 2 horses were killed on Easter Monday at Oakbank.

And I must admit I was getting very hot under the collar reading some of those comments .

Thanks, Matt - I didn't want the horrific deaths of those 2 poor horses to be forgotten.

I HOPE everyone is voting YES! to "should this be the final straw for jumps racing?"

Please comment - as you saw - some intelligent ones are DESPERATELY needed!

They probably won't be published until tomorrow - if at all! Often these articles tend to ignore intelligent, thoughtful comments, in favour of the mindless CRAP you just saw!
