Also if ne1 knows ne gud recipes for tofu???
HELL YESS! Tofu is great becase its really flexible in cooking and its made to absorb the flavours that its cooked with.
Try chopping a block of plain, extra firm tofu into 3cm cubes and marinating them in a large bowl with kecap manis (sweet soy sauce), kecap asin (salty soy sauce), crushed garlic, crushed coriander and a bit of vinegar. Let it soak in the fridge for at least 3 hours (overnight would be best).
When thats done, pop the cubes onto some skewers. Mix some of the juice with crunchy peanut butter so its pasty. Put the skewers onto a baking tray (lined with foil) and spread the paste on top. Bake it in the oven for about 15-20 mins. Delicious.
You can also make a vegan chocolate mousse using silken tofu. I cant recall the actual recipe, but it called for cocoa, natural smooth peanut butter, castor sugar... and silken tofu
