What annoys me though is when they are actually aware of the cruelty and agree that it's absolutely appalling, yet continue to buy cosmetics tested on animals and have a steak for dinner!
GRR zohmygod that pisses me off so much! Its doublestandards.
For example, my bestfriend (who i shall not name) is a bit... dotty... claims shes an "animal lover", etc, etc, although shes is a meat eater with more leather heels than a celeb, and a cosmetic collection that would make your jaw drop. I used to press her on this, but realised it wasnt going anywhere.
Its just a bit irritating when shed, say, buy an wspa wristband from a stall, and then further claim shes an "animal lover"
and you know what, i really really dislike the term "animal lover"
but he went cold turkey where as i slowed down over 6mths. he has no intention (currently) becoming a vegan, but when i cook dinner and cakes/cookies/etc they are all vegan, and he actually asks me "where is the tofutti?" when i either forgot to buy some more, or he cant see it tucked away in a back corner of the fridge. hehehe. he does call my cheese slices "plastic cheese" tho hahaa he's not keen on them. 
cause i get so passionate about it. i connect to people i guess..
