As of 12:01AM 4th of July a RAT/MOUSE is in my house.

The cat brought it in and I'm stuck in my room with my cat and dog (i got the cat in my room straight away).

I can't find the mouse/rat and to say I am scared sh*tless is the understatement of the year. Yes, I know, what a shame. But unless you've has a massive rat in your house I think you should keep the comment to yourself.

I think it is in ok health - it still is moving around fast (seen after i took the cat).

WHAT DO I DO??? I am here with my laptop now. I've got no idea what to do. Someone help. Desperate. Sorry for any typos but my hands are shaking..

HELP ME

*this post will hopefully not be worth commenting on by the 5th... but who knows..*

Ok I ventured out of my room. I can't find it. Great.

Would a mouse just find its way out? or is this wishful thinking?

Aww, don't worry about him. He is just a little critter, he's harmless. Open the door a bit and put a biscuit out and he will probably leave.

Nice work Matt. Glad to hear everyone survived the incident in one piece. I'll know who to call if I ever have a rat in the house wink

if your house is prone to mice & rats... I know that Peta sells humane mouse traps on their online shop. This obviously wont solve the immediate problem, but perhaps an investment for the future?
