This might be a late reply and not really be about "high school" but I go to Monash uni and I've heard they're really bad with animal testing.... :/ Ugh
So basically I'm just so ashamed... & I'd never participate in any animal dissection... (though they threaten to fail you if you don't >.>
If I was failed for not doing something ridiculous like dissections, I would go straight to the dean of students and make a scene.
On the plus side: If Monash is so bad with animal testing there is always the option of Direct Action

hey lol i dont do science subjects at school but i do do hospitality which requires the preparation of meat + fish. im allowed to wear gloves but still...id prefer it if i didnt have to do it.
can't you make a vegie version instead?
no because they said preparing meat + fish is apart of the course =(
