I guess this topic falls into another thread that's going on - jobs that help animals.
You can study veterinary science (uni) or vet nursing (tafe). You could look into dog grooming if that floats your boat. Environmental Science is an all round help the planet kind of thing. I guess it depends really what you want to do with your life.
But remember - you don't need to go to uni/tafe to help the animals in this world, there are plenty of jobs you can do without further education.
