So im a bit of a nerd, i adore star wars (obi wan..hes the WAN for me..xD) i play wow i love the 64 and i like to think i know a reasonable amount of intarwebs lingo.

I am how ever into anime/manga. Apparently that's nerdy. I haven't been to a con yet, mostly cos I have no-one to go with...
almost everyone i know is into anime these days, its getting more popular it seems.
ive been to avcon in adelaide a few times, it was ok. not as great as i thought it would be. the cos play costumes were amazing! although there were, just as an estimate, about a million people dressed up as naruto chars D:

Ugh I hate how anime is now "popular" it makes it sound like I am into it cos everyone else is... but then you mention a series thats not mainstream (eg: Trinity Blood - which I LOVE!) and everyone is all like "pfft noooo Naruto!!!" sigh.
My sis makes awesome cos play costumes. Unreal! She's even won comps
have you heard of Maple Story? It's an rpg I use to be addicted too. heaps of my friends that use to play maple story now play dota. i haven't tried dota yet.. i'm too scared i'll get addicted again
