Hi All,
Just thought I'd post this after visiting the maggi website happy not sure if something in them has changed in the last 5years since this post went up but their beef noodles contain no animal products, they are simply made using some of the same equipment used for products containing animal products and hence say the equivalent of "may contain traces of". Just figured I'd post in case anyone was missing their noodles happy I know there are all kinds of vegans, but to put it in perspective my sister is highly allergic to nuts (she's also vegan coincidentally) and eats products that say "may contain traces of nuts" with no reaction. Can't post a photo so here is the text on their website:

Ingredients

Noodle Cake:

Wheat flour, vegetable oil (antioxidant 319), salt, mineral salts (508, 451, 501, 500), vegetable gum (412).

If a person is an ethical vegan they should not ever buy Nestle products regardless of their ingredients. This company is the greatest of all corporate evils, have a barbarous history of animal testing, use palm oil extensively and in the unethical marketing of infant formula have been directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of infants in the developing world. They are scum. Anyone who buys their products cannot call themselves ethical.
