Yes, I always check roos, wombats, possums etc pouches that are dead on the side of the road. I spoke to my Dad last night (ex RSPCA Inspector) and he said to go back and take pics and inform the RSPCA and DSE of it. So I've got the pics and will be sending them in. I'm going to stop this, apparently where the roo died it's a popular area for dumped animals.

i know its cruel yeah? i would have stopped it if i was there. they think its cool trying to drive over birds and such, i know its sickening. sometimes they are drunk.

Wow. That must be really hard for you, to know that people you respect and care for are capable of such cruelty.
I am very glad that I will never be able to understand the sort of sick pleasure that someone might get from this. It is such a disgusting and low act.
