Haha, cool!
I never knew they had flavoured soy milk!!
^^ I can't wait until I can try all these things.
The chocolate soy milk is sooo good. I loove it. ecstatic
& they have vanilla and strawberry! (apparently strawberry is to die for, but I can't find it...)
Oooh yum. ^^ Best part about this is that I never liked the taste of milk anyway.

I'm with Ravy, I only use milk when cooking. I always use So Good Lite.

But I do enjoy (and have my omni partners) the flavoured So Good milks like Strawberry, Chocolate & Vanilla and they will happily drink it over alternatives! happy

I like Vitasoy Rice Milk with cereal and love So Good Lite with Tea. But everyone is different so it's best to try them all and see which ones you like and with what!

I love oat milk on my cereal, and So Good Vanilla Bliss in baking and my cup of tea.

I hear rice milk is sweeter than others?
Also, is there a particular kind of milk alternative that works well in cooking, or one that you can't cook with at all?

I've had trouble with soy milks when making porridge. I don't know if there is an alternative soy milk from the ones I use that would work?

I usually use soy milk when cooking cakes/cupcakes etc. But sometimes my sister is very stubborn and won't eat any of the cakes or cupcakes I make unless I follow the directions on the box... I try to do it without eggs also, if they ask for one. Most of the time, the cakes turn out better and fluffier =)

Rice milk is pretty sweet...

If you don't want to buy an egg substitute, use just under a tablespoon of vegetable oil. happy Not a full tablespoon though, or your cakes will be too oily. It takes a bit of practise to get the proportions right, but totally worth it.

I use egg substitutes if they ask for more than one egg, but if they only ask for one, I usually cook without and it turns out better, in my opinion... it's mainly just the problem that no one will eat it unless I follow the directions =(

That's a problem?!?  More for you, I say!  I have the opposite problem: everything I bake disappears very quickly.

As for milk - I like rice milk and almond milk.  Both are good for cooking.  Plus: almonds are packed full of zinc and magnesium (good for bones and joints!)

I love the lite soy milk on my oats of a morning, it makes it SO creamy! yum...

I used to drink stacks of cows milk..and it took me maybe 2 months to get off the stuff. Now I'm happy as i didn't realise it had pretty much no nutritional value.

i sometimes get worried about having too much soy
