I've sort of "disowned" Peta in a way ><, don't get me wrong, they've done a lot of good and I'm not at all going to go against them or anything, I'm just not for them anymore. I really hate some of their ads (some are really degrading and rude) and some other things they do, not to mention the fact that with every "wrong doing" or force fullness and "preaching" peta does, people around me automatically assume I'm like that (not that it's Peta's fault for that I guess).
So yeah but I still love their band ads (how can I not?) and their other ads that actually show the situation and are informative, plus all that they've achieved is amazing, so I congratulate them for that!
That's your choice to disown them, however i'm sure people will always assume you are like them or worse. In my opinion if people assume i'm like PETA id take it as a compliment. There are worse things to be than someone helping animals. PETA is not the most radical group, compared to say the ALF . I suppose it comes down to your own opinion on what is going to far to help animals.
I just don't understand how their adds are offensive? If we are admitting they have achieved great stuff it means these adds etc are working right ? Im interested to know what adds you are talking about ? perhaps i havent seen them.

Or when they feel the need to use sexism in their ads. I know it's for veganism and they chose to do it, but I don't think is always necessary to get the message across (& I get it, some do work and that's great! but some are just sexist & are known to turn people off)
I agree some of their ads do work, which is why I said some of their ads are offensive, not all. And i repeat that I am not against Peta, I just don't like some things they do, which should be reasonable.
