Haha Monster, that's cool! Everyone has different tastes and I can understand why some people don't like him.

I'm a big Eminem fan from way back! "Stan" is definatley my fav song, as I love Dido too! happy

Not a fan of eminem, I don't like the way he talks about women in his raps, and no woman should either. Basically I don't like all rap because of it's derogative nature toward women.

IMO too many kids listen to it.

P.S. Don't all jump on me for this comment, I don't feel like justifying it.
Agreed ! LOL & his voice is agro and it irritates me.
I love aussie hip hop such as the Hilltop Hoods, mostly their older stuff, they rap about real issues and society etc, not just about women and drugs and so on... (I know of course Eminem isn't limited to those topics either) they (hoods) have gone a bit mainstream in the past 5 years or so , so most of their radio tracks are not at all their best stuff.

If your interested look up a song called stopping all stations, what the seasons change and my all time fave track of theirs 1979! I love their lyrics, their quite informed, meaningful and they talk insightfully about real issues.

These are some of my fave lyrics of theirs...
directed at 'stars' like eminem I feel... from their track 1979

Zulu started b-boying as a form of expression,
to channel youths stress and their aggression,
now through the suggestion of record companies mc's are pumping these,
problems back into ya section, and isnt it ironic?
but not the sort that makes you laugh,
cos mc's are building futures by raping the past,
taking a glass of Chardonnay and putting it to your lips,
I'd rather take a razor blade and put it to my wrist
than sell records on the basis that I have to promote
sniffing and selling coke, toting guns and smoking dope,
you're all weaving the rope that you'll hang yourself with
my only consolation is within the hip hop nation is
b-boy elements that can still get me open,
like graff mags from Berlin, mix tapes from Oakland,
breakers from rock steady, plus anything from Tribe
and old school New York thats still got the vibe

Hahaha, I remember when I was about 10 and me and my friends traded around The Eminem Show like it was something illegal because my mum didn't want me listening to it. I still kinda like Eminem, he has some obvious talent. Except perhaps "Shake That Ass", I think that might have been a low point tongue

I love hilltop hoods ecstatic

I quite like eminem, mainly because my brother used to listen to him heaps as a kid so I mostly just like a few of his old songs but yea you're right, hilltop hoods rap about real issues unlike a lot of american hip hop and rap that are just about women and drugs, ect
