Just out of curiousity, does anyone know if Dr Chris Brown from Bondi Vet is a vegetarian or vegan?
Watching Bondi Vet tonight he helped saved a baby lamb by operating on her broken leg and it made me cry, it was so loving and beautiful.
I hate to think he's eating animals even though he looks like such an animal lover.

There are plenty of vets that aren't veg*n. Personally I cannot understand that.

I've been a vet nurse for 8 years and I've only known one vegan... and none were vegetarian. No shock there *sigh*

I love Dr. Chris!

Hes awesome!

(Quite cute too!)

I dont think he is a vege or vegan because it doesnt say it in any website hes on.

And if I were a vet in an interview, that would be the first thing i would say! confused

I was thinking the same thing when I watched it and had a google and nothing came up.
My partner (non veg) goes "aww how cute".
I went "I bet 1000's of people around the nation are thinking the same thing. As they chew on a sheep".
Then he got sad about the bitten dog and I told him that's how I felt whenever I see someone eating flesh... Sad, very sad. Didn't go down well.

Well, one of my friends (whose family owns a pet hotel) and I were having a friendly argument over whether or not dogs could be healthily vegan. He asked Dr Chris Brown about it, and he said they can't, because they won't get all their vital nutrients etc, which I know isn't the case because some of you guys have talked about your vegan dogs.

Dr Chris Brown is definitely NOT veg or vegan.  I've seen him on "Ready Steady Cook" and he's cooked up red meat twice (very disappointing!!!!).

I've met him & he's a really nice guy in person.  It's just a shame he doesn't really "love" animals the way he portrays himself on the show.

I personally think that it doesn't matter that he isn't a vegan or a vegetarian. All that matters is that he's a great vet. Anyway, just because you eat animals doesn't mean you don't love them...
